About the session

Most automation projects don't start from zero.

Somewhere there's a SCADA application that has been growing on the plant floor for fifteen years, or an operator panel on a machine you've been shipping since before anyone called it IIoT. It works. Everyone knows where the alarms are. And the thought of moving it is exactly what keeps it where it is.

On October 15, Marc Taccolini takes a real application and moves it to FrameworX while you watch, with the AI Designer doing the build and Marc talking through the decisions. You'll see what the AI does and what an engineer still has to sign off on.

Marc founded Tatsoft, and in 1997 his team designed InduSoft (now AVEVA Edge).

If you run a plant

Your SCADA and HMI application has been customized for years, in continuous process or discrete manufacturing. The tags, screens, alarms, scripts and historian settings are the most complete record of how the plant really runs, which is why moving them feels risky.

If you build machines

The operator panel is part of what you sell. OEMs, machine builders and embedded teams need one application that runs on every machine they ship, whatever hardware each one carries, and that their service team can support for years.

On projects with a clearly defined scope, and on migrations from legacy HMI and SCADA platforms, engineering time typically comes down to about half. Projects with unusual requirements save less. We'll show you where the hours go.

Under the hood, FrameworX is AI-Native by architecture: MCP servers for the Designer, the Console, the Runtime and File Access, plus an in-process AI agent spine. The model is yours. You host it yourself on an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, outside the FrameworX server.

What we'll cover

Sixty minutes, one application, rebuilt live

A plant application, read back and rebuilt in FrameworX with the AI Designer
An operator panel moved over, built once and deployed where the machine needs it
Where the engineering hours go, and which decisions stay with your engineers: ranges, alarm limits, interlocks
The platform you land on: every module included, 100+ connectors, every edition
What's new in FrameworX 10.1.6 for anyone modernizing
Your questions, live

Bring your application

Free migration assessment for everyone who brings an application

Bring the application you run today and we will tell you what moving it involves, at no cost. Upload a screenshot, a P&ID or an application export when you register, or bring it to the session and ask.

We run the first 20 assessments within two weeks of the webinar, in the order applications reach us, and schedule the rest in November.

Who it's for: controls and automation engineers, plant engineering managers, system integrators, and engineering leads at OEMs and machine builders. If an HMI or SCADA application is on your modernization list, this hour is for you.

Keep the Application. Evolve the Platform.
