Creating Categories
If you have the Enterprise version of FactoryStudio, you can create user-defined categories of data that you can use as metadata for tags. Categories are useful for filtering, both when creating the project and in the runtime.
To create categories:
1. Go to Run > Dictionaries > Categories.
2. Enter or edit the name and description for the category.
3. Continue adding as many categories as you need.
4. On the Tag -> Objects tab, for new or existing tags, select the new category in the Category column. Other Project elements can also use categories for project organization.
